Die Grundlage hierfür bietet das von Gerhard Garstenauer geplante und 1974 eröffnete Kongresshaus in Bad Gastein. Das als auskragende und sich von oben nach unten entwickelnde “Tiefhaus” gilt als eine Architekturikone des funktionalen Brutalismus in Österreich.
